Hi, I’m Elise McQuay-Ward.
I help small business owners bring clarity, calm, and confidence to their finances so they can grow with ease instead of overwhelm. Whether you're launching a new venture, managing inventory, or juggling multiple income streams, you deserve simple systems that support you, not stress you out.
I know what it’s like to run a business while wearing every hat. That’s why my approach is warm, organized, and judgment-free. My goal is to make bookkeeping feel lighter, something you can finally stop worrying about.
From customized QuickBooks setups to ongoing support for florists, short-term rental hosts, and other growing businesses, I’m here to give you the structure you need to thrive. When your numbers make sense, your business becomes a calmer place.
Let’s build a financial foundation you can trust.
My Approach
I take a deliberately thorough approach to bookkeeping built on depth, training, and intention.
I am heavily equipped for this work through formal education, specialized training, and hands-on experience with a focus on doing things correctly, not quickly.
I take a deliberately thorough approach to bookkeeping built on depth, training, and intention. I am heavily equipped for this work through formal education, specialized training, and hands-on experience, with a focus on doing things correctly, not quickly.
I am a QuickBooks Online–trained bookkeeper and ProAdvisor, with advanced knowledge in setup, chart of accounts design, and workflows that support clarity and better decision-making. My background also includes formal bookkeeping education aligned with AIPB standards through structured coursework and exam-based programs.
In addition to my technical training, I bring hands-on experience with floral and garden center inventory, including tracking perishable products, managing stock flow, and understanding the operational realities unique to floral businesses. This allows me to design systems that are both accurate and practical.
At the core of my work is a genuine desire to bring value through books business owners can understand. Clear, well-organized financials should support better decisions and give owners a reliable picture of where their business stands.
